Alan Heron

Alan Heron started Alan Heron Homes back in 1988, focusing on constructing high-quality subdivision homes. Over the years, he built more than 1,000 homes, earning a reputation for craftsmanship and attention to detail. In the 2000s, Alan decided to shift his focus to custom home building and renovations, where he could bring more personalized designs to life. His experience allows him to see potential in every project and guide clients through the building process with ease.

Paul Burke

Paul Burke brings a wealth of construction knowledge and skill to the team. Originally from Ireland, Paul is a master carpenter with a knack for combining traditional techniques with modern design. He joined forces with Alan in 2022, forming Heron & Burke Construction. Paul’s expertise in carpentry means that every project gets the level of detail and care it deserves. He believes that every home should be as unique as the family that lives in it.

The workmanship and quality of materials was top-notch. The mess was far less than we expected, because you took the time to seal off areas, and vacuum at the end of the day. We were especially impressed by the little extras that went beyond the contract specifications, such as putting matching doorknobs and trim on the doors in the hall. You even went so far as to put the garbage out when we forgot! The men who worked on our house for 4 weeks were friendly and helpful. Once we started working with him, there were several times when we discovered kinks in the renovation plan that Alan had already anticipated in the budget. This was very helpful for us. In our previous house, we had completed a few smaller projects, but there were many times we shared the thought that few others could have pulled this together on time, within the budget and with minimal anxiety.
